[origin: WO2007065412A1] The invention relates to a rolling bearing (01) having at least one heated rolling bearing ring, and to a method for mounting a rolling bearing (01) on a frame element with the formation of a shrink fit. In this rolling bearing, an electrical heating element (08) is applied with good thermally-conductive contact to a surface section of the heated rolling bearing ring (02), wherein the heat quantity which can be generated by the heating element (08) is dimensioned such that the heated rolling bearing ring (02) undergoes thermal expansion when heated, which permits the rolling bearing to be mounted on a frame element with the formation of a shrink fit during subsequent cooling.
