Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1958529A1] The buckle has a cap (5) fixed on a side (23) of an article closer e.g. alpine ski boot, and a lever (6) pivotally mounted about an axis (7) relative to the cap. A linking rod (8) is pivotally mounted on the lever about another axis. The former axis is actuated, during tightening, by a translational movement with respect to the side of the article closer. An attachment rack (12) is fixed on a side (24) of the article closer. A latch (10) is affixed to the linking rod, where the latch is engaged with one of the teeth of the rack, when closed.
