[origin: DE202007004263U1] A filter (1) has an electrode arrangement supplied with a high voltage during a filter operation and comprising a spraying electrode (13) and a precipitation electrode (11) that is arranged at a distance from the spraying electrode. A filter space is formed between the electrodes, where gases to be cleaned pass through the filter space. One of the electrodes is provided with an electrically conducting coating on a surface facing the filter space, where the electrodes are made from an electrically conducting material e.g. metal.
