Abstract (en)
The shuttle (10) has flexible radial projections along a longitudinal direction, contacted with an inner wall of a cylindrical tube (124) to be polished when the shuttle is placed inside the tube, where the projections are of disc and helical shape and are made of flexible composite material. The projections have sections forming a series of undulations separated from one another in a longitudinal section of the projections, where a rising height of the undulations is higher than a distance between successive undulations. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for polishing an inner wall of a cylindrical tube (2) an inner wall polishing device comprising a polishing shuttle.

La navette de polissage permet de polir la paroi intérieure de tubes cylindriques (24A, 24B, 124) en particulier à usage médical. Elle comporte des projections (12) radiales flexibles suivant la direction axiale, aptes à polir la paroi intérieure de tubes par simple mouvement relatif entre la navette et le tube, la navette passant à l'intérieur du tube. Dans une section longitudinale les sections des projections forment une suite d'ondulations séparées et élancées dans la direction radiale. Le procédé de polissage permis par la navette est particulièrement simple puisqu'un unique passage de celle-ci peut être suffisant pour assurer le polissage ; le procédé s'avère donc rapide et facile à automatiser par exemple dans le dispositif de polissage selon l'invention.
