Device for drying paper, cardboard or tissue strips comprises impinging the fibrous strip with process air for drying from a process air chamber (20), passing the waste air from the drying process into a waste air chamber (18), feeding the waste air from the waste air chamber to the suction side (54) of a pressure-raising unit (56) and feeding a part of the process air from the pressure side (58) of the pressure-raising unit to the process air chamber. An independent claim is also included for a machine (10) for producing paper, cardboard or tissue strips with a three-dimensional structure comprising the above drying device. Preferred Features: The process air chamber and the waste air chamber are arranged on the same side or on opposing sides of the fibrous strip.

Es wird eine Vorrichtung zur Trocknung einer Faserstoffbahn (12), insbesondere Papier-, Karton- oder Tissuebahn, mittels Heißluft beschrieben, bei der die Faserstoffbahn (12) mit der Trocknung dienender Zuluft aus einer Zuluftkammer (20) beaufschlagt wird und bei dem Trocknungsvorgang anfallende Abluft in eine Abluftkammer (18) gelangt, wobei die Abluft aus der Abluftkammer (18) zumindest teilweise der Saugseite einer Druckerhöhungseinrichtung (56) zugeführt ist und der Zuluftkammer (20) zumindest ein Teil der Zuluft von der Druckseite (58) der Druckerhöhungseinrichtung (56) zugeführt ist.
