[origin: WO2007068363A1] The present invention relates to a hair-removal appliance (1), in particular an epilator and/or depilator. The invention here relates, on the one hand, to the hand-held part of such a hair-removal appliance, having a housing (S) on which various tool attachments (3, 28) can be fastened, and having a drive device (15) which is arranged in the housing and has a drive element (4, 13), in particular drive wheel, to which a respective tool attachment can be coupled by way of its drive element. The invention relates, on the other hand, to a set of tool attachments for such a hair-removal appliance, comprising at least two interchangeable tool attachments (3, 28) which each have a coupling portion (10), the coupling portions being identical to one another and being connectable to a complementary coupling portion on the hand-held part (2) of the hair-removal appliance, wherein the tool attachments each have a drive element (7, 27) which can be coupled to a drive element (4, 13) belonging to the hand-held part. According to the invention, the drive device belonging to the hand-held part has at least two drive elements which can be coupled alternately to a respective tool attachment.
