The invention also includes impact-absorption means (18) which are disposed outside the inner wall (24). The impact-absorption means (18) include an object storage box (32) comprising a base (34) and a peripheral wall (36) which can deform in the event of an impact. The peripheral wall (36) connects the base (34) to the inner wall (24). The inner wall (24) defines an opening providing access to the box (32). The invention is suitable for motor vehicle door trims.
