Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2007065394A1] Disclosed are a couple of cone pulleys of a continuously variable cone pulley transmission, each of which comprises one fixed pulley and one traveling pulley that are respectively disposed on a shaft located at the input end and a shaft located at the output end and can be connected via a wrap-around means in order to transmit torque. At least one of the shafts is provided with at least one axial bore which extends in the longitudinal direction of the shaft and from which at least one connecting bore extends which runs towards the external surface of the shaft. The outlet of said connecting bore on the external surface of the shaft is located in a zone which is covered by the traveling pulley regardless of the axial position thereof. An annular space that is embodied between the external surface of the shaft and a radial internal surface of the traveling pulley and can be impinged upon by hydraulic pressure via the connecting bore, is fitted with a device for discharging air bubbles from the annular space.
