[origin: WO2007068640A1] Disclosed is a mobile station (MS-GW) which is designed, as a gateway for one or several mobile terminals (ME), to establish a connection between the mobile terminal/s (ME) and an access network (ASN). The mobile station (MS-GW) supports a network-based mobility management (PMIP) such that the mobile station (MS-GW) acts as a client instead of the mobile terminals (ME) during communication with a home agent (HA) of a home network or intermediate network (V-CSN, HN1) connected to the access network (ASN) in the framework of a mobile IP connection.
