Abstract (en)

The hollow section (1) has a fire protection insert, which is provided for the extension of a service life of the hollow section in the case of fire. The protection insert exhibits layers (7, 8, 9) that are made of different fire protection materials, where the layers exhibit different thicknesses and are chemically or mechanically connected with one another. A hollow section wall (5) is provided such that the protection insert rests directly against the hollow section wall. The hollow section is made of metal, preferably aluminum. An independent claim is also included for a hollow section arrangement.

Hohlprofil (1, 2) für Brandschutzkonstruktionen, insbesondere Brandschutzfenster, Brandschutztüren, Brandschutzfassaden oder Brandschutzglasdächer, wobei das Hohlprofil mit mindestens einem Brandschutzeinsatz ausgestattet ist, der zur Verlängerung der Standzeit des Hohlprofils im Brandfalle eingerichtet ist, wobei der Brandschutzeinsatz mindestens eine erste Schicht (7) und eine zweite Schicht (8) aufweist, wobei die Schichten aus unterschiedlichen Brandschutzmaterialien bestehen, sowie Hohlprofilanordnung, umfassend mindestens ein erstes Hohlprofil (1) und ein zweites Hohlprofil (2), wobei die Hohlprofile (1, 2) über Isolierstege (3) miteinander verbunden sind, wobei die Isolierstege (3) eine gegenüber dem Material der Hohlprofile (1, 2) verringerte Wärmeleitfähigkeit aufweisen, wobei es sich bei mindestens einem der Hohlprofile (1, 2) um ein Hohlprofil nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 13 handelt.
