Abstract (en)
The method involves varying volume flow continuously from a flow direction to another flow direction by a flow sensor. Total electrical power consumption of electrical resistors (1) or an electrical heater is measured. A measuring signal of the electrical power consumption is reached to a minimum or maximum such that the measuring signal or a simultaneously detected current or voltage signal is stored and is utilized as a signal for operation. The current or voltage signal is changed with resistance change of the resistors or heater.

Bei einem Verfahren zur Nullpunkt-Kalibrierung und Strömungsrichtungserkennung eines Strömungssensors mit einem oder zwei hintereinander im Strömungsweg angeordneten elektrischen Widerständen (1, 10) mit positivem oder negativem Temperaturkoeffizient (PTC, NTC), deren Arbeitstemperatur T R1 , T R10 höher als die Eintrittstemperatur T 1 des strömenden Mediums ist, wird dessen oder deren Leistungsaufnahme und / oder der Spannungsabfall an den Widerständen (1, 10) erfasst, wodurch sich feststellen lässt, wann keine Strömung vorliegt.
