[origin: WO2007071352A1] The invention relates to a speed-regulating unit in a fluid-cooled configuration for connection to a drive motor, in particular a motor of a pump assembly for conveying fluids, wherein the speed-regulating unit encloses a line which conducts the conveying fluid. The speed-regulating unit (2, 23, 32) is attached to a tubular piece (1, 9, 24) which can be installed into the line which conducts the conveying fluid (35) with retention of a predefined flow path. The heat transfer to the conveying fluid (35) takes place by means of a single-piece or multiple-piece fastening bridge (5, 25, 31).
