[origin: WO2007068548A1] The invention relates to a sensor element for determining different gas fractions in a test gas, especially in the exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine. Said sensor element comprises a lambda probe (2) for determining an oxygen fraction in the test gas, at least one semiconductor gas sensor (6) for determining at least one additional gas fraction in the test gas and a multiplexer (7) which is connected to the semiconductor gas sensor (6).
