Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2895545A1] The method involves performing a hashing e.g. SHA1, operation on an identification information of an application of a computer system, before services of a trusted environment are accessed by the application. Authenticity of result of the hashing operation is checked by the environment. An application identifier is provided by a driver to an operating system (2) e.g. Linux(RTM: operating system) of the computing system. The identification information is provided by the operating system to the driver. The hashing operation is executed, by the driver, on the information. An independent claim is also included for a system for authentication of application of a computing system.
