[origin: EP1964986A2] An improved overflow system for a sanitary application has a recess in the wall of the basin/bath etc., with a plug fitting (6) to hold a cover plate (5) flush with the inside of the wall and with a gap (10) between the edge of the plate and the recess to provide the overflow. The system is attached to a threaded stud (4) and is secured by a plug fitting. This can be reinforced by a magnetic grip.
