[origin: WO2007076956A2] Disclosed is a page cutter comprising: - a first nipper part (3) which encompasses a first blade part (9) that is provided with a blade; - a second nipper part (5) which encompasses a second blade part (13) that is provided with a blade; - a joint (7) which pivotally connects the blade parts (9, 13); and - gripping elements which are assigned to the blade parts (9,13). The blades of the first and second blade part (9, 13) have at least two cutting sections (19, 21). A first cutting section (19), which is preferably located near the joint (7) or directly adjoins the same, is equipped with a first cutting edge (23, 23') that is formed by two cutting surfaces (31, 39'; 31', 41') running towards each other in a V-shaped manner and is disposed at a distance from an outer surface (27, 29) of the blade part (9, 13). A second cutting section (21), which is preferably located at a distance from the joint (7) and adjoins the first cutting section (19) on the side facing away from the joint (7), is fitted with a second cutting edge (25, 25') that encompasses two cutting surfaces (27a, 39; 29a, 41) which run towards each other in a V-shaped manner and one of which coincides with the outer surface of the blade part (9, 13).
