Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2007076747A2] The invention relates to a cabriolet vehicle (1) comprising a rear roof unit (3) provided with a rear window (6), and a roof part (4) which is mounted upstream of the rear roof unit in the direction of travel (F) when the roof is closed. For the opening of the roof, the rear roof unit (3) can be displaced to the rear and the upstream roof part (4) can be displaced towards the rear roof unit (3). At least one front roof unit (5) is adjacent to the upstream roof part (4) in the direction of travel (F) when the roof (2) is closed, said front roof unit being mobile in relation to the upstream roof part (4) when the roof is open. The inventive cabriolet vehicle is embodied in such a way that the displacement of the upstream roof part (4) towards the rear roof unit (3) can be carried out by means of at least one rotatable shaft (A) associated with the rear roof unit. The rotary movement of the shaft can be converted into a movement of the upstream roof part (4) and the upstream roof unit (5) respectively about at least one axis perpendicular to the vehicle (1).
