[origin: DE102005063058B3] Producing a cold rolled strip with a ferritic structure by casting a steel melt into a strip, optionally hot rolling the strip, coiling the hot rolled strip and subjecting it to one or more cold rolling operations comprises cooling the cast strip from an initial temperature (T1) of at least 1180[deg]C at a rate of at least 150[deg]C/second to an intermediate temperature (T2) of up to 1000[deg]C and then keeping it at a temperature (T3) of 900-1000[deg]C for at least 10 seconds.
