[origin: WO2007009744A2] Disclosed is an operator's element (1, 13), especially a joystick, comprising tilting haptics for a motor vehicle, a tiltably mounted lever with a primary (2, 14) and at least one secondary (5, 10, 17) lever arm, and at least one pair of permanent magnets. One magnet of a pair of permanent magnets (6, 11, 18) is disposed on a secondary lever arm (5, 10, 17) while one magnet (7, 12, 19) is stationarily arranged in the operator's element such that non-identical poles of the magnets (6, 7, 11, 12, 18, 19) face each other at a distance from one another in the central position of the operator's element (1, 13).
