[origin: DE102005063215A1] Unit has an electrode ensemble (2) made of an electrode and a separator in a foil housing. The foil housing is connected with the ensemble over a fused joint (7). The foil housing has a housing cup (1) for accommodating the ensemble and a housing cover, where the housing cup is made of composite foil. The electrode consists of a polymer binder and the ensemble that comprises a conductor, which is guided outward through the foil housing. The fused joint is provided between the housing cup and the conductor. An independent claim is also included for: a method for manufacturing a memory component.
