[origin: FR2895639A1] The plate has two assemblies (10, 10`) each with three field coils (10a, 10b, 10c, 10`a, 10`b, 10,c) arranged side by side in a cook top, where the coils are electrically connected in series with high frequency alternative current generators (11, 11`). Control units (12, 12`, 13) are adapted to control the operation of the assemblies independently and to control synchronous operation of the assemblies, where the coils of each assembly are equidistant from each other. Two of the coils of one assembly are disposed opposite to two of the coils of the other assembly, respectively.
