Die Erfindung betrifft eine Duschwanne (2) gekennzeichnet durch einen Tragabschnitt (20) zum Tragen einer oberhalb der Duschwanne (2) bewegbaren Tür (8), und eine Duschkabine (1) mit einer Duschwanne (2) und mindestens einer oberhalb der Duschwanne (2) bewegbaren Tür (8), bei welcher die Duschwanne (2) einen Tragabschnitt (20) zum Tragen der Tür (8) aufweist und die Tür (8) im Wesentlichen von dem Tragabschnitt (20) getragen wird.
