The hand tool with a pneumatic impact-action tool (20), with an impact element which is movable back and forth in a guide, has at least one braking element which is formed as a pivotable lever which is pivotably controlled via the impact element. A control contour for the pivotable lever is arranged on the impact element, specifically at the transition between a first section to a second section of the impact element, wherein the first section has a smaller diameter than the second section.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine zumindest teilweise schlagende Handwerkzeugmaschine mit einem pneumatischen Schlagwerk (20), das ein in einer Führung (21) hin und her bewegbares Schlagelement aufweist, und mit einer Bremseinrichtung (30) für das Schlagelement, die wenigstens ein am Schlagelement bremswirksam anlegbares Bremselement aufweist. Zur Verbesserung einer derartigen Handwerkzeugmaschine ist das wenigstens eine Bremselement als Schwenkhebel (31) ausgebildet, der über eine am Schlagelement angeordnete Steuerkontur (25) schwenkgesteuert ist.
