[origin: EP1967339A2] The device 91) has at least one mold (4) for placing on a shaker (3) for producing vibrations and for making a molded part, especially a block of concrete, and at least one mold lifting cylinder (12) for raising the mold from the shaker after compressing the mixture by vibration. The at least one cylinder and the mold are adapted to each other so that the mold can be fixed to the shaker by the cylinder(s) even when operating the shaker. An independent claim is also included for a method of compressing dry mixtures.
