[origin: EP1967631A1] The tufted non-woven fabric has tufting fibers at the back of the fabric with an out-of-round cross section. The cross section shape gives a bond in the fabric with a holding force across the fiber longitudinal direction of >= 40 mN. The proportion of fibers with an out-of-round cross section is 1-99 wt.%. The fibers are composed of at least two polymer components.
