Abstract (en)
Safety device (1) to join and tighten filiform elements in general, with a guided mechanism throughout its path, formed by a solid body (3), double channels (10) with a wedge mechanism (6) implemented by springs (7) that prevent the extraction of the cable (2) in the direction that is opposite to that of insertion and rest on the inclined surface (8) of the inner cavity (9), and covers (5) that close the assembly. The cover (5) has an extension (11) whose lower border is parallel to the inclined surface (8), creating a path that guides the wedge (6) and the spring (7) perfectly throughout their trajectory. Wedge elements (6) push the cables (2) in such a way that they tend to separate from each other, thus generating a greater space between them to facilitate tightening operations.
