The method involves determining the classification, depending on one of the characteristics, representing the content of the respective radio transmission. The characteristic of the contents of the specific radio transmission representing classification is determined (S3). The classification of every determined radio transmission is provided (S4) as information to the specific radio transmission in the radio receiver. Zum Bereitstellen von Informationen zu Radiosendungen (RS), die mittels analogem Rundfunk übertragen werden, in einem Radioempfänger wird abhängig von einem jeweiligen Audiosignal mindestens einer empfangenen Radiosendung (RS) jeweils mindestens ein Merkmal (MM) ermittelt, das repräsentativ ist für einen Inhalt der jeweiligen Radiosendung (RS). Abhängig von dem mindestens einen Merkmal (MM) wird mindestens eine den Inhalt der jeweiligen Radiosendung (RS) repräsentierende Klassifikation (K) ermittelt. Ferner wird die jeweils ermittelte Klassifikation (K) der mindestens einen Radiosendung (RS) als Information (I1) zu der jeweiligen Radiosendung (RS) in dem Radioempfänger bereitgestellt.
