[origin: WO2007077050A1] A portable electric power tool comprising a housing (2) and an electric drive motor (22), the drive shaft (14) of which is coupled to a rotating cutting tool via a transmission member (24), has a fan impeller (13) which is driven by the drive shaft and draws in cooling air via first inflow openings (6) in the housing, which cooling air is to be directed via the drive motor and is to be drawn off from the housing via outflow openings (19).
