Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2007073712A1] The invention provides a plate link chain for in particular a vehicle drive, having a plurality of chain links (4) which are articulatedly connected to one another by means of thrust pieces (1, 13), wherein the thrust pieces run transversely with respect to the longitudinal direction of the plate link chain (2) and are arranged in openings (3) of the chain links, and wherein respective contact faces (14, 15) of curved design are arranged on the thrust pieces and on the chain links, along which contact faces (14, 15) the thrust pieces and chain links bear against one another for the transmission of force, and wherein rolling faces (5) of curved design are arranged on the thrust pieces, along which rolling faces (5) the thrust pieces roll on one another for the transmission of force, and wherein the thrust pieces are of asymmetrical design in the thrust piece height direction (H) in a cross section which runs in the longitudinal direction of the plate link chain, and wherein the contact faces are provided between the thrust piece and the chain link at the upper and lower contact face region in the thrust piece height direction, and wherein the thrust pieces, in the region of the rolling faces, have at least two regions (6,7) with different curvatures.
