Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1969956A1] The member has a base (25, 35) fixed on a surface of a sports boot, and a connecting element (31, 37) in cooperation with a connecting member. The connecting element has geometry such that the element tangent to the zone, where the element connects with another connecting element of the connecting member is not perpendicular to a closure direction of the member in the configuration in which the member closes and tightens the sports boot. A lever (26) is movably mounted in rotation on the base and connected to an end part (30) by a tie-rod (28). An independent claim is also included for a sports boot.
