Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1969973A2] The device (1) has a base (2) provided with two orifices (7) directly or indirectly fixed on a frame (8) of a bed base or seat, and an adjustable knob-nut (3) supported by the base, where the knob-nut has a central orifice with a thread. An adjustable rod (4) extends through the central orifice of the knob-nut, where an upper plate (28) of the rod receives a support element (5) or a maintaining unit i.e. bi-slat type support tip (6), of the support element. An upper part (25) of the rod has a thread (26) complementary to that of the thread in the central orifice of the knob-nut.
