Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1970492A1] The sweeper (1) has a sweeping container (13) brought from an operating position into an emptying position at an emptying device to move the container. A side broom (19) is provided with a side broom drive (23) and moved between raised and lowered positions. A pushrod, a shaft, two arms and a cable couple two actuating units (9, 21) and a controller for the drive in such a manner that the drive is switched off when the unit (9) is in a neutral position or a position. The unit (9) is moved from the neutral position into another position when the unit (21) is in latter position.
