Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1970505A2] The panic lock has a lock housing (1), in which a spring-tensioned bolt (2) is arranged. The bolt is locked in a position overhanging from the lock housing, and is retractable into another position unlocked into the lock housing. A holding unit (12) is arranged at a distance to a slider (10) which is held by the bolt at the latter position. An electrical operating device (4) is engaged at the holding unit, such that the electrical operating device releases at the latter position of the bolt.
