[origin: WO2007081265A1] The present invention relates to a profile arrangement (30) in order to form a roof ridge on a pitched roof having a number of counter battens (8) , and which arrangement (30) is formed of a profile (10) that has sides (3a, 3b) having ends (Ia, Ib) and which is manufactured of a stiff material. Each substantially vertical side (3a, 3b) of the profile (10) has at least one portion (Ia, 2a,- Ib, 2b) that is angled in relation to said sides (3a, 3b) and forms a fastening portion each. Said fastening portions (Ia, 2a,- Ib, 2b) are arranged to be applied on counter battens (8) on the respective side of said roof ridge. The invention also relates to a method of forming a roof ridge on a pitched roof with the arrangement (30).
