[origin: WO2007080306A1] The present invention relates to a device for checking the charge of at least two storage batteries (300, 350) using an electrical alternator (101) connected to each storage battery via a separate current feed circuit (110, 120), said checking device including a circuit breaker (1, 50) to be placed in each current feed circuit, which circuit breaker comprises input and output electrical terminals and contact means designed to open or close the electrical contact between the two input and output electrical terminals. According to the invention, the checking device includes, in one of the two separate current feed circuits, a switch (40, 51) mounted in parallel with the contact means of at least one circuit breaker.
