[origin: WO2007077297A1] The invention relates to covers for a splash-proof electrical utility box, comprising an annular cover frame (1) and a lid element (3, 3') fitting in its opening (2). Beneath the cover frame (1) is fitted a separate water-proofing shield (4), from which extends a splash-proofness indicating mark (5 (IP 44)) onto an external side of the cover frame (1). The covers according to the invention are particularly useful for built-in socket-outlets and power switches.
