[origin: EP1972394A1] The device has a two-limbed pressing loop (8) with flexibly interconnected limbs (9) and an opening area (12) for insertion of workpieces (10). Two-fold double-armed transfer gripper (1) connects the loop with a drive unit, where coupling units (K1, K2) are arranged on each side of the opening area between the loop and the gripper. The angularity of the loop is changed relative to the gripper by moving the loop with the opened gripper, and a locking- and pressing movement of the loop is blocked by a blocking device. The blocking device is assigned to the coupling units.
