Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1972442A1] The system (31) has a fluid nozzle arranged in a fluid line. The fluid nozzle produces a fluid jet (33) which is directed to a spray nozzle (23). An adjusting unit adjusts an emission direction of the fluid nozzle. A connecting device connects the fluid line system with a fluid source. A fluid valve controls fluid discharge. A control unit controls the valve. The fluid nozzle sprays cleaning fluid e.g. fountain solution on the spray nozzle, where the fountain solution is subjected with a preset pressure. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for cleaning a spray nozzle (2) a protection cap for utilization in connection with a spray nozzle, comprising a spray jet aperture.
