Abstract (en)
The method involves closing the packaging enclosing the gathered region of the packaging enclosing the product with a clip by folding or bunching the section of packaging material about the product so that it encloses the product with one side exposed, gathering the section of packaging material above the product on the exposed side to form a neck and closing the neck to apply a clip. The neck of the packaging material is fixed when closed and the clip is continuously fed as a continuous clip tape. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement for packaging a product in a section of packaging material.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Verpackung eines Produktes (P) in einem Abschnitt eines Packmittels mit Raff-Einschlag, bei dem der geraffte Bereich des das Produkt (P) umgebenden Packmittels mit einem Clip (C) verschlossen wird, umfassend die folgenden Schritte: - Falten des Packmittelabschnitts um das Produkt (P), so dass der Packmittelabschnitt das Produkt (P) eine Seite freilassend umgibt, - Raffen des Packmittelabschnitts oberhalb des Produkts (P) an der freigelassenen Seite, um einen verengten Packmittelhals (H) zu bilden, und - Verschließen des verengten Packmittelhalses durch Anbringen eines Clips (C), wobei der Packmittelhals (H) beim Verschließen fixiert wird und der Clip (C) als endloses Clip-Band (S) fortlaufend zugeführt wird. Die Erfindung betrifft auch eine entsprechende Vorrichtung.
