Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1972877A2] The device (1) has a drying device (2) for removing water on the surface of a container i.e. bottle (8). A measuring device measures environment parameters and transmits the parameters to a control unit (4). The control unit is designed in such a manner that drying performance of the drying device is controlled based on the measured environment parameters. An input mechanism (9) is provided to input the environment parameters to the control unit. A measuring instrument (3b) measures air temperature, and another measuring instrument (3c) measures air humidity. An independent claim is also included for a method for drying a container such as a bottle.
