The press pad (1) has a pad layer (6) from a rubbery-elastic material. The pad layer lies in the boundary areas (8,9,10,11) of two opposite edges (2,3,4,5). The press pad is harder than adjacent boundary areas. The pad layer has harder boundary areas at all edges.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Presspolster (1, 21, 41, 51) für den Einsatz in Laminierpressen, mit einer Polsterschicht (6, 26, 42, 52) aus einem gummielastischen Werkstoff, welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass die Polsterschicht (6, 26, 42, 52) in den Randbereichen (8, 9, 10, 11; 27, 28; 44, 45; 56, 57) von zumindest zwei gegenüber liegenden Kanten (2, 3, 4, 5; 22, 23; 46, 47; 54, 55) des Presspoleters (1, 21, 41, 51) eine höhere Härte hat als benachbart dieser Randbereiche (8, 9, 10, 11; 27, 28; 44, 45; 56, 57).
