Abstract (en)
A needle guide cam (45) acts on a butt for selecting of a select jack to push down the same forcibly to a B-position by its protrusion (45a). When a needle is selected by a first needle selecting actuator (50), a selector is pushed up to a position corresponding to an H-position of the select jack by a raising portion (48b) of a selector guide cam for raising (48), thereby to push up the select jack to the H-position. The protrusion (45a) of the needle guide cam (45) and the two raising portions (48a, 48b) of the selector guide cam for raising (48) realize the function of a select jack clear cam of rising and setting type, thereby to eliminate the moving portions.
