[origin: EP1975301A2] The rotary cloth drier protective cover (2) has multiple telescopic pipe pieces (6,7) slidable with each other. The pipe piece has an end side arranged stop ring which prevents a complete separation of the pipe piece from each other. The pipe piece has a sealing ring which is arranged at the stop ring. The stop ring of the pipe piece is formed as sealing ring.
