[origin: WO2007079707A1] The invention relates to a piston /cylinder unit, comprising a cylinder housing and a piston with a piston rod which may be moved axially in the cylinder housing and which may be pivoted about an angle relative to the cylinder axis. The piston has a spherical segment shaped surface facing the inner diameter of the cylinder housing and a pressure spring arranged within the cylinder housing acts on the piston from the side opposite the piston rod. According to the invention the pressure spring acts in the direction fo the piston against a convex curved or concave curved surface which permits a pivoting movement of the piston.
