Abstract (en)

The unit has a shaft (1) defining a vertical axis, and an aspirating base (5) fixed at bottom of an impeller (3), and including vertical annular inner and outer walls (7, 6) that define an aspirating hole (9) and a supply zone (10), respectively. The wall (6) has a free lower edge (12) with a part (11) that is provided at a level lower than that of a free lower edge (13) of the wall (7). The wall (6) has another part (15) whose free lower edge (14) is provided at a level higher than the edge (13). The part (15) is inclined at an angle ranging from 30 to 60 degrees, with respect to an axis. An independent claim is also included for a method of aspirating a float in a pit.

Abstract (fr)

Dans ce groupe motopompe, une partie (15) de la zone (10) d'alimentation est inclinée par rapport à l'axe (1) du groupe, ce qui permet de faciliter le pompage des flottants.
