Abstract (en)
The flashing light has a housing that has a light source (16) with a light-transparent cover. The light source radiates the light toward the axle center of the housing. The light source is arranged in the area of the optical medium, which laterally emits out the light radiation. The optical medium is formed by a reflector (20) and a facet mirror. An independent claim is also included for combined optical alarm generator with a flashing light.

Eine Blitzleuchte für Alarmanlagen enthält ein Gehäuse mit mehreren Lichtquellen (16). Das Gehäuse weist eine lichttransparente Haube auf und die Lichtquellen (16) strahlen das Licht in Richtung der Mittelachse des Gehäuses ab. Im Bereich jeder Lichtquelle (16) ist ein vorzugsweise durch einen Reflektor (20) gebildetes optisches Mittel vorgesehen, welches das von der Lichtquelle (16) abgestrahlte Licht diffus seitwärts nach aussen reflektiert. Die Lichtquellen (16) sind vorzugsweise durch oberflächenmontierbare Leuchtdioden, so genannte SMD-LED, gebildet. Die Blitzleuchte bildet zusammen mit einem akustischen Alarmgeber einen kombinierten akustisch/ optischen Alarmgeber.
