Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1980788A1] The burner has a set of shield forming units (11) partially obstructing a central air supplying duct (2). Each shield forming unit extends along a plane parallel to a general plane of a downstream opening of the central air supplying duct at the level of a downstream end of a gaseous fuel supplying device (5) in a manner to impoverish a zone by oxygen in which the gaseous fuel penetrates in a furnace. An independent claim is also included for a method for renovation of a gaseous fuel burner.
