[origin: EP1980812A2] Device for spacing heat exchanger tubes (1) comprises spacer holders (2) having an upper boom (3) and a lower boom (4) with the tubes in contact with the booms. Free spaces (5) are provided between the upper and lower booms and the heat exchanger tubes. Preferred Features: The number of line and/or point contacts of the tubes with the spacer holders is less than 6. Either the upper boom or the lower boom has a polygonal notch for receiving a heat exchanger tube.
