Abstract (en)
The timepiece has a discrete striking mechanism placed in a case, where the mechanism has an actuating unit driven by an energy source. The mechanism has a mobile ring (26) arranged in a wall of the case, and cooperating with the actuating unit. The ring is evolved between a position in which the ring is partially at an upper level with respect to the case, and another position in which the ring is entirely at an equal or lower level with respect to the case.

L'invention concerne une pièce d'horlogerie comportant un mécanisme de sonnerie discrète destiné à prendre place dans une boîte de montre, ledit mécanisme comprend : - une source d'énergie (24), - un organe d'actionnement destiné à être entraîné par la source d'énergie. Selon l'invention, le mécanisme de sonnerie comprend, en outre, un élément mobile disposé dans la paroi de la boîte et coopérant avec l'organe d'actionnement, ledit élément étant susceptible d'évoluer entre une première position dans laquelle il est au moins partiellement à un niveau supérieur par rapport à la boîte et une deuxième position dans laquelle il est sensiblement entièrement à un niveau égal ou inférieur par rapport à la boîte.
