[origin: DE102006004176A1] The table system has individual table legs (2) connected to table top (1) by axially adjusting plug-mounting. An automatic holding device (5,6,7) holds the table leg, after the leg is inserted into the plug mounting. The plug-mounting has an aligning hole (4) for admission of the aligning pin (3). A positioning element (8) determines the rotating direction of the table leg.
